The coilovers are great but communicatio, support, and marketing of the product isn't. its very difficult to get an answer out of them, emails, phone calls, and voice mails often do not get answered even when its clear I am trying to buy something. For most questions it took several tries to get an answer, sometimes I gave up.
They sent the wrong part(s) maybe because of miscommunication or misunderstanding, but after lots of effort they eventually sent less wrong parts. It took a few weeks to get the answers I needed to buy, then over a month after paying to get the coil overs, then about another month to get the correct parts, now its been a few weeks trying to get another answer... All in, its been since spring trying to get the project done.
Their website doesn't describe important details, which wouldn't be that bad if they would answer questions. Thats unfortunate cause the product is actually way better than the website makes it look.
All that said, the product and price might be worth all the negatives.
It's impeccable, smooth yet sporty.

Great quality product backed by an awesome team. Always there to answer and help out with questions needed as well. The suspension kit was as described and zero complaints. I did the middle option and it lowered the gen 1 R8 perfectly. I highly recommend the swift spring upgrade as well.

overall I’m very happy with the product and the experience.
The suspension itself feels very high quality. Everything arrived as expected, and I ordered mine with the upgraded Swift springs and stainless hardware. From the packaging to the components, the setup felt well-built and solid.
The installation went pretty well overall. The main downside is that the instructions could use some refinement. They were a bit vague in certain areas, so I had to use my car’s factory service manual to help guide me through removing the OEM suspension and installing the new parts correctly. For someone with less mechanical experience, clearer instructions would definitely help.
The other issue I ran into was that my front coilovers were mislabeled. The left front was labeled right front, and the right front was labeled left front. That caused some confusion and added extra time during the install. Once I figured it out, everything went together, but that was definitely something that could have been avoided.
That said, the customer service was excellent. Before ordering, I had a lot of questions, and even after the coilovers arrived, I had several technical questions during the install process. The sales team and tech support were very responsive, often getting back to me within an hour. That made a big difference and gave me more confidence throughout the process. thanks Josh!!
Overall, I’m impressed with the quality of the suspension and the support from Scale. My only real feedback would be to improve the installation instructions and double-check labeling before shipping. Other than that, it was a very positive experience, and I’m excited to continue dialing in the setup.

The coilover installation was relatively easy for someone with just a surface level understanding of suspension components.
However, when the fronts got here the stickers letting you know which one was for the left and which one for the right were swapped. I also lost my stickers instantly (which is of my own fault,) but when I emailed asking for possible replacements I got no reply.
All of the negative out of the way, on a good note. I took a gamble on rather these would fit or not, a 1700 dollar gamble. Id say it was worth every cent. Yes, the ride handles a little bumpier than OEM, but thats just coils. These let me stick to the ground at speeds up to 80 on some of the turns I take when before 70 would be the cap.
The instructions could be refined, typos and all. However, they do a very good job explaining what's what.
All in all, I enjoyed my purchase for the most part. I'm sure you will too.

Most importantly the rear dampening adjustment on the shock shaft is awkward. You must remove the tires, loosen the liner, and shove your arm up there. An allen head at the top of the shaft like the fronts would work better. The GLA has an access panel to the top of the shock. For the passenger side…I used long allen wrenches with set screws popping up through the interior panel on a set of Teins on an IS300.
I assumed the spring color didn’t apply with the Swift upgrade. I was simply surprised when I opened the box and they were not black.
I do have a set of your coilovers on my pickup. I rode badly for about 4-6 months. From what I’ve read you use heavy seals that take a long time to break in. A note to the customer would be good. My new ones are feeling the same way. Trying to adjust dampening with that behavior will really try your patience.

Regarding the Swift springs, unless a custom powder-coated spring option is selected, we intentionally leave Swift springs in their standard Swift color. In the past, when we coated them black, we had customers question whether Swift springs were actually installed. Keeping them in the factory Swift finish helps eliminate any confusion and ensures transparency. That said, we completely understand the surprise if you were expecting black. That is fair feedback and we can definitely make that clearer in our product notes.
On the rear damping adjustment for the GLA45, you are absolutely right. Some platforms unfortunately require a bit more effort to access the rear shock adjustment, and the GLA chassis is one of them. Mercedes did give access panels on certain models, but not all variants make it easy. We agree that a top-mounted Allen adjustment like the fronts would be more convenient. We always try to balance packaging constraints, suspension geometry, and durability, but your feedback is noted and appreciated.
As for ride quality and break-in, you are correct. We use high-quality, heavy-duty internal seals designed for longevity and consistent damping performance. Because of that, there can be a break-in period, typically a few hundred miles, where the ride may feel firmer or slightly harsh. Once the seals and internal components settle, the ride becomes noticeably smoother. We agree that including a break-in note in the box is a great suggestion and something we will look at implementing.

Purchased Scale coilovers for my Honda Element SC as OEM shocks and struts are no longer available. Upon opening the box I was immediately blown away by the build quality. Very well built product, great engineering. No issues with the install except for some frozen bolts. Lowered about 1.5 inches now, but will adjust again in a few weeks of driving. What a fantastic difference in handling. Handles better than my S2000 which is like a go cart on the street. Dampening adjustments are precise and you can feel the difference in the settings (I made adjusts of 3 turns then drove the car). Almost no body lean on transitions and the car just plants in the corners. Paired with new wheels and Continental S02’s, this suspension system is just awesome. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to take their Volvo S60 to the next level. I attached pics of before and after the install. I like the quality and results so much I am getting the same Innovative suspension in the spring for my 2022 Maxima!! Well done Scale Suspension!!!
